are they for the NA M113? Would you also know if they ll be ok for a right hand drive car or in need of serious fitting mods?

Not sure but I am sure they could be modified. If they don't fit you could always sell them again.

I would ask Renntech but I am away from my work email ATM.

mmm, I am watching them! I doubt they'll go cheap, I am sure our 55 friends from the american forum will be on them as well.

From your experience would you think they ll work better than the Kleemann Log type I have planned?

No Idea if they are any better but the Renntech stuff is of the highest quality.

how does these exhaust manifolds improve performance?

Better flow. Gasses get out faster is the laymens terms but there is quite alot to it tecnicly speaking.

There are claims that manifolds like these give a 10% power increase in the case of a 55 v8 engine that is about 35BHP

I must admit the tubular manifolds are what i would like to buy as i don,t rate the log type manifolds.
But i have only ever seen the log type for the 43, i,ll buy some one day but i have a few other things to pay for first
