BAS light on W210 E240

I hope that you knowledgable folk can help with the above. Came back from taking my wife to work in snow. Coming down snowy lane touched brakes, ABS cut in - doh! Released brake put car in 1 (auto box), slowly crept down hill traction control lamp flashed a couple of times, but negotiated my way home without hitting anything. Now however the BAS light comes up on dash followed by ABS warning message. ABS still seems to be working and so does servo - I'm confused, please help.

All gone!?

Mmm - Got in car this morning, and obviously those little Merc nanobots had been busy 'cos the fault has disappeared completely. Strange tho' eh?
