Battery change- car running so much better!

Am I going mental? After a dead battery today I changed it for a lovely shiny new one (MB dealership in Edinburgh currently doing 10% off batteries). Since Ive swapped it over the change in the car has been incredible- Im guessing the ECU might have reset which could have made a difference- thoughts?

Slightly off topic, how many pennies did they take including the 10% off?
