Battery disconnected, reconnected now ESP/BAS/ABS Malfunctions

Today I removed my brothers sound system from his 1999 W208, in order to remove the cabling from the Battery, I had to disconect the Negative terminal (engine switched off).

Now, when I reconnected the battery, both windows didnt work (I have now reset them - working fine) and also 2 Malfunctions appeared on the LCD screen.

Can I fix these errors, or will my garage need to reset the system.... or worse???

if you start car up and turn the steering wheel lock to lock thay should go out
by doing this you are reseting the steering angle sensor so it knows were the centre of the steering is

I've also found in the past on the ML that thee lights appear after disconnection, but after a few hundred yards driven, they disappear..
