Battery drain on c180k coupe

Hi guys not sure if I'm on the right page as I'm new to this . I have a 2004 c180k coupe and I've got 2 issues with it , I had a battery drain on the car replaced the battery twice and still kept draining i then started look for what could be the cause of the drain finally finding fuse 9 was the problem i pulled the fuse and the problem has stopped , the thing is fuse 9 controls a number of things and I need your help to determine what it is causing battery drain. Issue number 2 is about 3 days ago a fault came up on the display say display faulty visit workshop but everything is still working as it should , how do I get ride of that fault . Thank you

Hello and Welcome.

You should get the car connected to MB STAR diagnostic computer (most good specialists will have one), get the fault codes read, then try and delete the fault code for the display and see if it comes back.

Alternatively you can invest in an iCarsoft MB 2.0 scanner, it isn't as good as STAR but its affordable and it may allow you to view then erase the fault codes.

Thanks for quick reply Markjay I shall look into that . As for the battery drain from what I've looked up could it be the overhead control that could be the culprit as its run off fuse 9
