Hi,
I purchased a vehicle about a year ago and never taken the battery cover off. unfortunately it looks like the battery current limiter fuse on the positive side of the battery has blown and the previous owner bypassed it with some copper wire
I have since purchased another fuse from eBay, however after I fitted it the car doesn't start. The ignition etc comes on but the engine wont turn over. Does anyone know if these have to be coded etc to the vehicle by any chance please? I have attached a photo of the part i fitted! Thank you all
