Hi guys I'm in dire need of some help
I just recently had a motor swap done in my car (timing chain skipped on last motor)
Since getting it back straight away it brings up an alternator battery warning but when I check my voltages with a multimeter I am getting 14.2v car running and 12.6v car off.
In addition to this issue my auto headlights will turn only the parking globes on not the low beams. But with the car running and my diagnostic tool plugged in I get code p0620 (powertrain generator control circuit)
And p2062 (reluctant supply control circuit/open)

If I clear the codes with the car running my auto headlights will turn on for a out 10 seconds then back to only parkers and then battery warning will appeR on my cluster when that happens.

Also I had a guy with a proper diagnostic tool plug in when trying to regas the aircon (dodgy guys let the pressure out when doing the motor swap) and his tool was reading the pressures for a few seconds then was getting zero values on all associated sensors. Ac will not engage and it appears like its not communicating or something.

I also tried plugging in a front SAM unit from an identical car to see if that was the source of the problems but car does the exact same which has left me stumped I don't know else to check everything is plugged in my voltages are good
Any help or suggestions of what to check would be so greatly appreciated

Hi Richard and welcome. battery terminal connections tight ? Have you tried a different/new battery on it ? Apologies if you have already tried this.

Yep I've cleaned terminal's they look to be fine. I'm getting good voltages everywhere and I have been driving the car for over a week now and haven't had any drop in power or anything.

This is diagnostic info I have no idea whT to check or where the plugs even are for these systems I can't find any relevant info online
