Due later this year. First series was pretty good if you like that sort of thing.

The Last Kingdom series 2 will return on both BBC and Netflix in 2017 in co-production deal

Far more akin to History Channel/Amazon's 'Vikings' than Game of Thrones I think. I think Vikings is better than this, although the first series wasn't bad.

I'd love someone to adapt David Gemmell's stories.

Unlike GoT he has characters I actually give a **** about.

I read half of the first GoT book. I chucked it when I realised I couldn't give a **** about what happened to any of them.
