Beading rain

Thought I'd pop a pic up I took yesterday. Angelwax H2Go on the SL sunroof = lots of beading. Looks cool but aids the rear window clearing.

I tried some simoniz finishing wax, and getting a very nice beading off it

Nice shots and beading, those last two! Mine is not so artistic but was impressed how the lines of beading followed the bonnet contours, as though a handful of huge raindrops followed gravity quickly, leaving little beads behind in their respective wakes .
One coat reach the day before of Auto Finesse Essence wax, then Collinite #845 insulator wax.

As sad as it is to many, beading is an oddly satisfying thing.

That picture I posted above is actually from underneath the class roof. Cheating a bit but looked good haha

I'd of never of guest, looks good TBH, just don't get any wax on the windscreen as I did. Took an age for my wipers stop juddering haha

Ed at Divine Detail recommended Angelwax H2Go for my windscreen and I applied it to the roof and rear window on the SL. Lasts far better than the likes of Rain-X and for my other half to comment it must be pretty good

Oddly I waxed mine and it's perfect?

Really good water repellent too! Maybe depends on wax and how much?

Suspect your right mate. I find if it repels too much water it squeaks or judders. Like you say probably product dependent.

It's OK on my back screen as I do apply to this one, just the front screen it judders something rotten
And when we had some frost it frozen weirdly
