Beautiful looking E55AMG Estate. Black/green [ Project for someone? ]

Something about it looks familiar, either the car and/or the location of the pics. I’m sure we’ve seen it before :)

It’s cat-N so by definition it should be non-structural. It is missing the plinth though! :)

Nice enough spec and honest advert. Suspect it would eat up a fair bit of cash to tidy up but it’s cheap enough I guess :thumb:

same colour as mine… has been on fb for a while. Yes, a good project for someone as is a well spec’d car but as said, cat N because of a number plate dent.. about half price too.

The fit of the offside headlight doesn’t look quite right. There’s bound to be a bit more going on behind the bumper, I’m sure.

This colour looks beautiful in the sun
Could be a nice project for someone :)

Does seem a nice looking car and moneys worth for someone who knows what they’re doing (that’s if everything described is genuinely up with it)..

Good share pal 👍👍

Main dealer history's a good thing.

What would it be worth without the faults? 2003 150k miles / 4 owner / MB history: an extra £2,500 at £9k ?

I would have thought so, if not a bit more, but the cat N is always going to be a problem.
hoping my facelift one is still worth £10 or£11k.. people are asking high prices for these but think £20k is a bit too much, but you never know..

Exactly.

I don’t know who buys a Cat N performance car, but surely even a perfectly running Cat N must be at a 10+% discount relative to a “normal one.”

And you will get less pay out if you ever write it off.....No problem with buying a CAT N (not structural damage) car myself.....often its just a side scrape or less)....but the price needs to be rather less than a non cat car. Personally I would never touch a CAT S.

I’d say around that imo.. Sounds about right considering what others are fetching. 👍

Estates e55s are becoming increasingly popular from what I’ve seen too.

To anyone interested, you need to look very carefully in the pocket where the front upper wishbone inner mounting bushes are. These cars are starting to corrode quite badly in this area, and it’s a costly and complicated repair
