Hi all,

Yes I'm new to this forum, for a couple of reasons a, just bought myself my first Mercedes and its incredible and b, a Becker Map Pilot purchase...

So I need your help, I've searched for answers on this but to no avail... My Map Pilot is fully functional in English and works like a dream, however when I use PTT the language it has selected for me is Deutsche. I've tried and tried and I'm at a loss on finding out how to change this. Is there any way this can be changed to English as its driving me mad and voice command has so many reasons to making my life easier...

Thank you in advance and look forward to getting to know you all over the coming years, cheers...

Welcome just go into the car system settings and select language that should do the job.

Hi ashadam,

Thanks for your response, have now sorted this... After a bit of messing around I discovered you can only change this language setting for PTT whilst you have a destination set, very confusing but worked a treat... Now I don't need to learn a foreign language ;)

No worries how you finding the system, It has been spot on for me every time.

I too struggled for a few minutes finding this setting. Poor design, me thinks but then again now you've done it you won't have to do it again.

Personally I think a half decent manual would go a LONG way to making things easier, instead of just sayimg, 'this is feature x' if it actually explained what it does, when it does it etc. Clearly not much thought put into it

Finding the system excellent, even just for having on display when you're driving about, always good to know the speed limit without panicking ;)

I do agree with some of the further comments on here, a decent manual would be more than useful, just simple instructions... Anyhow, excellent system!! :D
