This isn't a "for sale" advert(!); I'd just like to check if there's anything I need to do before selling my Becker Map Pilot unit. Notes / actions so far:
>I didn't set a PIN when I originally got the car, so that won't be an issue for the new user I hope... (is it safer to plug it into a colleague's Merc and set a PIN to be supplied with the unit when I sell it?).
>I've updated it to the latest nav software (version 2.5.27 for the M013 unit from my Q4 2012 C Class coupe)
>I've deleted all of my routes / home address etc
>Found the box, USB cable and quick start guide
Anything else? I'm assuming the buyer will be able to plug in and register as a new user after downloading "content manager", and that none of my personal info will be anywhere else on the unit / linked to the unit.
I also bought the speed camera (danger spots) update a few months after getting the car. Again, I'm assuming that this will be available to the new user.
