Becker speed camera

I have today 31 March 2021 installed a new Becker map pilot into a 2018 Vito.
i downloaded the latest maps and purchased the danger spots upgrade.
So far the maps seem to work ok on the vehicle, the danger spots/speed cameras also seem to be there.
However the warning for the danger spots/speed cameras is only sounding either right on, or after the point has passed.
ie, not advanced warning, so in effect useless.
any one offer any useful advice.

First, check that your Becker Map Pilot unit has the latest firmware (it's a free download from the Becker website).

Then, I believe that the speed camera alert settings can be configured from the Becker Settings menu.

it’s a new Becker unit from a merc dealer.
I registered it with Becker and downloaded the new maps and software.
Its finding the cameras fine, but the alerts are much too late, either on them or passed.
I can find the alert settings but no way to change the timing or distance prior to the camera.
