Behr radiator

We met up with my cousin and her husband, down from Scotland, at the Russian Spring Festival in Trafalgar Square yesterday. Well, he has a 2004 S211 320cdi which recently was diagnosed with the dreaded Behr radiator gearbox issue!!

He was ready to have a real song and dance with the dealer, only to be told by MB (somewhere in Edinburgh - I forget the name) that a good will repair is approved and his 211 goes in on tuesday! To say he's chuffed is an understatement!

So, for those with 8 year plus 211s (or other cars with this issue) it seems some MB dealers are still helping out!

Blimey - back to the old days of goodwill.

Maybe there has been a legal case which has put some heat on MBUK to be more helpful?

In Edinburgh it will be EDINBURGH MERCEDES BENZ formerly part of the Eastern/Western group --maybe still is ?? 3 branches at Newbridge, Willowbrae [ both Edinburgh] and Coldstream [in the Borders] . Generally get a good rep.
ps are you sure its Behr?? and not Valeo?
