Benefits cheat caught showing off in car mag

What a plonker  Fancy spending all that money on a Citroen Saxo...Pure and utter madness

£6,000 in income support, £5,000 housing benefit, £1,000 council tax benefit plus one Saxo = 8 months.

Deserves 8 years for the Saxo alone

"All you really need to be a Roman warrior in this day and age is a double-hard Saxo..."

 LMAO

cant see what the problem is?

surely its his money to spend how he likes....the fact that eveyone else works to pay for his benefits isnt an issue is it? its the plain fact that benefits should not be given to anyone full stop. thus ending once and for all this shameful reliance on the state.

get out and work, lazy pigs!

this of course, does not disqualify those who are unable to work due to issues beyond there control, such as no jobs, ill health, being a one parent family, seeking asylum etc, low income earners.......

hmmmm.....no wonder the government hasnt a clue what to do. I cant make any sense out of it either.

Because he was claiming benefits and running a car customising business as well....

I'm a low income earner and i don't get any benefits ......

maybes i should have put some smiles in my less than serious post!!!!

This sort of thing was recently highlighted on a programme called "on the fiddle".

"Entrepreneurs" like this continue to claim benefits because the state pays at a rate that doesn't attract income tax and they pay your NI stamp for you, thus keeping the 'Revenue off your back while you run your business.

Unfortunately these people are lazy or stupid and end up being caught because they are conspicuous with their spending.

The article says:-

Luce described his Citroen as a "chariot on tyres".

And he told the £4.25 magazine, "You would be surprised how much attention this gets. Some of my mates' girl friends won't let them come out cruising with me because of it.

"It attracts so much attention it's daft."

The article reads, "All you really need to be a Roman warrior in this day and age is a double-hard Saxo..."

OMG! Double Hard Saxo - so that'll be one can can do 60mph then! A Roman Warrior :bannana: would that be Biguth D**kuth or Thillious Thoduth??

Neither.

Woderwick, as in "Welease woderwick".

That was such a good film that my local cinema banned it back in it's day (always a good sign). Wonder if it would be allowed in these PC days?
