That is very nice

I love the 'Seat Alert Option':

"This available feature gives you the option of seat-bottom vibrations instead of audible safety alerts. "

Mrs Ant & I had a very similar system on our Motel room bed in the US many years ago.

$1 for 10 minutes. :D

Yes I rented one recently in Florida for a family holiday in Sarasota.
And Yes! Every time you get close to something , like backing up, you get a couple of distinct buzzes in the seat.
Prompted me to say Lady put that car down!.

Got a friendly slap from the Missus--"Don't say that in front of the kids"! --who were smiling being older teens and young adults.
Then from way in the back I heard from the granddaughters. Is Granddad in trouble again?:D
Keep on trucking.

Note the LED star ceiling like the new BMW 7 series!

Previous gen RR had this before 7 Series, you can get it customised to the visible stars on the day that you were born.

Why can people not design an attractive five door attractive Estate car any more?

Over the last 25 years I've driven nothing but coupes, saloons and estates.

When the kids grow up I'll get a smaller estate and/or go back to saloons & coupes.

I've never been tempted to go two feet higher.

Each to their own, though.

Doesn't stop that Bentley being an absolute munter.

Yes I thought that was a cute idea, but a bit OTT for me.
Here's a press film supposed to be showing Sexy!
Makes me wonder how they interpret that with the "biddy in tow" as beings Sexy!

They could have found some "Guapa Chica" from Columbia/Venezuela for that role!:thumb:
Ah well!

One in 70's porno purple knocking about near me, it's fecking hideously ugly.

If I had a budget of £180k and wanted a 4x4 I really couldn't see the point in spending circa £60k more on one of these as opposed to a FFRR Autobiography.

I never realised the FFRR were that expensive. Are they actually that good/worth it?

A top spec FFRR can be had for circa £110k, the Bentley 4x4 is about another £60k more.

Even worse when you take into account the Bentley is a Q7 in a frilly skirt.

Didn't answer the question though did it?

Yes they are worth it. The Bentley is a pimped up q7 against a purpose built s class equivalent with actual dual purpose.

I had a tdv8, got the boot filthy from having the dogs in Ireland with me shooting for a week. Dismantled the boot in 5 minutes, jet washed it, like new again. Do that in a Bentley! On the other hand I was pulling up to country houses parking next to bentleys and mine looked more tasteful.

I like bentleys but not this one. The Range Rover does everything, and it does it better than most.

Once you've owned a good one, it's easy to understand why they have their legacy.

Sorry, misread it.

Yes, they're worth it, best way I've heard them described is that they're a 4x4 S-Class.

The only thing that could have been a bad mark in the past was fuel economy but since the introduction of the SDV8 (which will see 40mpg), it covers every base.

Obviously some people despise 4x4's for their own reasons but they're perfect all rounders in my opinion.
