Olly here. Final preperations are being done this week. I hope you all enjoy yourselves. Lets make this one the best yet, I am sure it will be. Thank you for all your support in making this one of the best Mercedes GTG's in the UK. Just some housekeeping rules, the boring bit. Please be considerate to our neighbours at the workshop and especially at the pub. We have parking marshalls about to make it run as smooth as possible. Please watch your speed in and out of the village too. We have to park 100 of you in the field so be patient. See you all saturday. Mines a pint please

We're heading to Tewkesbury on the Wed following the show and will be there for the next six following days if it's of any help?

PAH!

Having a kitten-weak left leg after my spinal injury 5 years ago means I'm not the steadiest thing on two legs - major muscle wastage, foot drop, loss of balance and all that jazz.

Yesterday, I performed one of my least favourite tricks - walking down a flight of stairs and my foot gave way resulting in me duffing my good foot trying to stave off the inevitable staircase fandango.

Here's a picture of my ankle.

The ankle, although swollen isn't that painful - it's the top/bottom/side of the foot that took the strain and it is damn painful.

I can't really stand without support at the moment and it's not good news for my only weight-bearing leg.

However, if I can stand/drive, I will be there. Here's hoping.
