I currently use autoglym shampoo and conditioner, but was wondering if there are any that leave a corrosion inhibiting residue/ protective coating?

i always use autoglym shampoo. Every 6 months the car gets clay barred and then a meguiers 3 stage wax goes onto the car to keep that deep shine i love about black cars. if im in a hurry the car will go thru a jet wash (winter only) and all arches will be sprayed to remove the road salt as well. the autoglym polishes work very well. i suppose its down to personal preference

Autoglym and Meguires for me.

I think the Autoglym is my preferred choice.

+1 for autoglym

If I am quickly cleaning a car its a pre wash with snow foam and a hint of chemical guys citrus wash and then I wash the car with chemical guys extreme body wash and wax.

autoglym for me, i believe there BSC has a rust inhibator in its make up also you could try there HD WAX which contains a large amount of carnuba which gives it the protection against the elements along with leaving a deep glossy finish ! i swear by these proven products:p

Bilt-Hamber NO 1 choice we used to use Autoglym and it is an excellent product,
but since switching and testing Bilt-Hamber products there is no comparision much more advanced technology and top results.

Cool. I'll stick with Autoglym BSC for the moment then, and then try Bilt-Hamber or Chemical Guys.

I like the finish Autoglym leaves, but I like a lot of suds - which it doesn't give.

Great shampoo though, best I have tried is Einzsett Perls - not that easy to find though, but great stuff!
