Ronin in 1st place IMHO

Then include any of the Bourne Chases

Bullitt for me, I can still remember expecting the thump from my cinema seat when hitting the crossing roads.

Bullitt, it's the one that started them all

Matt :thumb:

I'll chip in with the Tanker scene from Mad Max 2, and the Blues Brothers.

For me it's the opening scene from Claude Lelouch' otherwise-not-very-successful 1986 film 'A Man and a Woman: 20 Years Later'.

With you on that, matey gave the S8 a run for his money in that Citroen.

The Blue Brothers chase for the comedy but the best had got to be the Bullitt chase; no background music, just the sound of those V8's - pure heaven.

Bullitt for me also, it's seems somewhat more cool as Steve McQueen did the driving himself.

Ronin also makes it into the top three.

There was some pretty gnarly action once in an episode of Noddy! :D

oh come on, it has got to be this. More tyre squealing and wheel turning than any other. (And some interesting need to look in the mirror, then behind you to confirm the mirror is not lying)

And I guess we shall gloss over the corners and such forth!

Motoring press group tests aren't like they used to be...

As you rightly pointed out, this isn't really a car chase, more of a friendly race, but a very interesting array of 80' high-performance cars indeed. A dying breed really, nowadays M and AMG cars etc have a peacock's decoration of external body trim and badges that for me spoil the whole thing.... the original M5 was as subtle as it gets.
