My son bought a w208 320 from him about 3 1/2 years ago for not a lot.

It was curling up at all the edges, but sound mechanically. It's still running at 160k, but we will be scrapping it this year. All in all, cheap comfy motoring for him for over 3 years.

Its not a bad place to look for cheap but interesting run arounds.

Given this has popped up everywhere, it has had exactly the response they would have been looking for. This is a sellers trick that has been used for quite a few years now very successfully.

Pick a car you know has a good enthusiasts following and create a humorous sale thread pointing out all its problems knowing some enthusiast will take pity and rescue it and you get thousands of eyeballs of advertising you wouldn't have otherwise got.
