Hi guys,

The interior of my new car is in pretty good shame and the leather is still the lovely original Matt finish. Just wondering, what treatmentdo you guys use to keep it that way?

I have an unopened bottle of Autoglym Leather Care Balm, but wonder if I should use something different?

thanks all!
Tom

People in the know say that car leather has a polymer sealant coat from the factory and should be cleaned like plastic - with a wet cloth.

But, I use a leather conditioner on the leather bits in my car (sadly only the steering wheel, gear selector lever and gaiter) and it does work for me, i.e. in spite of the theory above it does seem to work, the leather is smooth and shiny after using it.

So make up your own mind....

i Use Dr Leather Wipes occasionally on my leathers. They work well.

Dr Leather here too. Darryl understands the needs of the materials in cars.

I can recommend Raceglaze who offer a cleaner and a balm in their range.
