I have an R230 SL that last year had a new rear window after vandal damage. The work done was pretty major as the entire rear of the car was stripped out in order to remove all the glass and a new rear window installed with new seals etc.
At first the roof was fine, but now it has 'settled' and is out of adjustment slightly. The MB approved bodyshop that did the work suggested I take it to an MB dealer as they would better be able to adjust it.
The rear window is sitting slightly down on the right and when the roof opens it pulls at the boot seal.
So where is the best dealer or indie to take it to in Manchester for this to be looked at. I am hoping the bodyshop will pick up the tab, but more importantly want the job done right.
Whitefiled is the nearest main dealer, but I have no idea whether they have a good reputation or not.
Any ideas?
