Can someone recommend a good and reasonably priced oil extractor please?

I know people recommend the Lidl electric ones but I’ve never seen them for sale here (then again I don’t regularly visit) and a bit hesitant about connecting it to the cars battery.

If you have compressed air the above type is available with an air connection. Saves a fair bit of manual pumping if you are fussed. The GL has 12l in it so was well worth the extra.

Pela as above. Works well and it doesn't require too much pumping.

I have the Pela 650, great on the C220 but not sure I can use it on the C350, the dip stick hole is tiny ?

I use a pela 6000 on my e350 without issue. Oil nice n hot and 20 pumps it soon sucks the sump dry. The wife even let's me use it on hers. ( ford kuga )

Interesting, what's the diameter of the suction pipe you use for the 350 ?

I've used both a vacuum hand pump and the Lidl electric pump. I much prefer the electric type as the oil can be pumped straight into the waste container.

I'm not convinced of the quality are they any good? or is a Sealey or Draper a better option.
When you look at the ad, it shows a british flag, says item location Leicester
further down
unbranded item, description with "c" and "s" backwards and business seller in China.

I'm a believer in getting the oil straight into the container that goes to the recycling centre.
Last few cars I've used this method with the electric pump and right into the container.

Done one of the lads Puegeots the other day, little 3 cylinder thing where you have to get underneath to do the filter that is up in the engine so needs filter socket on an extension.
Since I was down there anyway I thought I'd just do the sump plug.

Oil catch tray etc. at the ready and to reduce any mess I got the drip tray up on some wood to get it close to the plug.

Of course I bumped this when I moved something and ended up with oil over the mat and onto the drive.

Easy reminder why I like pumping it out.

Got the E55 to do next but that has to really be drained.

They will do the job just fine...a little bit on the slow side, but just work away doing the filter while its extracting the engine oil. I have one, but also a 10 ltr draper one,,,as to be expected, it drains the oil quicker than the 12V one, but its fine for the occasional change. I think that the 12V one cost about €12 and the Draper cost € 75. But it has more than paid for itself since I got it, The whole family use it.
