At the weekend i am going to fit a charging cradle for my phone. I have done it a few times on lesser marques, but not so sure on this car of where to start. If anyone knows the best place to get access to a 12v supply (permanent or ignition live) on the passenger side (and what panels to remove and how) it would help me greatly :o

Theres a fusebox at one end of the dashboard , you could look there for an empty fuse location - theres normally one - I *think* the connector contacts that go in the back are part number A004 545 52 26
If there isnt one, you can get the fuse plastic mounts to clip in there also

Why not take a switched live from the lighter socket in the ash tray , or from the rear power socket in the centre consul , its the black/yellow wire . For a perment live take it from thr back of the raido red/yellow . Make sure that the cradle has its own fuse , about 15amp should do

perfect, thanks - the armrest 12v socket will be ideal, i didn't think of that, cheers, saved me hours of pain!

thanks again Shorty, it took minutes;
