Anyone know which is the best site for car parts? Ive been looking for parts for my SLK 320 2000 plate. there's seems to be next to nothing out there? i cant believe it. I was able to order any accessory for my 1996 Alfa Spider from parts world.com :( surely there's an equivalent for Merc?

You couldn't find any websites? Have yoy heard of Google :p

You can also have a look here - Euro Car Parts | The UK's Number 1 Provider of Car Parts Online and In Store

Good news is yoy can reserve online and collect from over 110 stores.

The forum is a great place for advise, if your looking for anythibg on our site, feel free to drop me a PM

Pat, looking at yours and Dieselman's link, Car Parts | Spare Parts | Car Parts Online | Motor Spares, you appear to have a two tier pricing structure, as the sites are the same, yet the part I looked at was 25% cheaper at Carparts, with free delivery. What's the situation here please, and can parts ordered through Carparts be collected from Euro?

'Carparts4less' and 'ECP' are owned by the same people; one is Internet only while the other has prices at roughly 25% more, but you can collect in-store.

As above,

CarParts4less operate internet only, there are no stores to collect from and its strictly mail order only - its main business is customers who want the 'cheapest option' without the frills as competition to all of these other internet only companies. - They are a separate company to us, so EuroCarParts.com has nothing to do with them.

EuroCarParts runs over 110 stores, you can collect in store, and all warranties can be dealt with by stores. The prices are our normal 'counter prices' and have been for the past 4 years - We offer certain forums a 25% discount (dont forget MBCLUB get 30%) which normally makes us cheaper.

It can be over 50% in some cases:

CP4L 802220071 £48

ECP 802220071 £108

Always best to shop around before you use your special "discount"....

Surely if you fetch it yourself, it should be cheaper than the price that includes delivery?

Thanks Pat. If I wanted to order an alternator, how would I get the 30% discount you mention, instead of the 25% offered by your promo code please?

Use the code MBCLUB30 :thumb:

 Thanks, Pat! I did actually try that after the other one, and it wouldn't have it. Maybe it was case sensitive.

Thanks guys for the advice. I'm not impressed with eurocarparts, I have to say. I'm looking for a pair of oem mats, pref AMG. I also want new lower grills for my AMG bumper. Oh and look at hat rear AMG spoilers are available, maybe a keying too, and I'd love a boot liner/protector/tray. So far I e found nothing!

ECP is not the place for that, you need to order things like those from an MB dealership.

Your local dealer will be able to supply all that stuff. Ask for a price, and then a discount and you may be surprised.

Hi,

Why are you not impressed, if you have an issue, drop me a PM and I'll help.

As for those parts, Nick is correct - they are exclusive to MB (the AMG mats are copy-written for starters) therefore only MB sell them.

We can specially order any of those parts, but it would be via MB and we only sell at their retail.

I hope we can help with you other requirements, but accessories (especially branded ones) are not our strong point.

Patrick
