Best wheel protection

After a bit of advice please: I have alloys with a polished face on my E Class. What is the best protection over the winter for them? I don't rate Poorboys wheel sealant at all. I currently use FK1000, which is good, but is there a better product I can use to help prevent or prolong the inevitable corrosion of the polished face?

Reading the Gtechniq website, it would seem there is no point waxing the wheels before applying the C5 as the wheels need to be wiped down before application with alcohol or panel wipe. Also, I presume I can't wax them after application either.....can anyone confirm this?

U can wax after application. But leave to cure first.
