Well, here is an up date on the BG 244 injector/fuel line cleaner !
I put the stuff in the tank when it was half full!
I went for a 20 mile drive on low rev's and returned home.
Didn't really notice anything!
I started the car next morning and everything was much the same except for when I kicked down there was a very thick/ black cloud of smoke in the rear view mirror.
I carried on for a while and kicked down again a few times and surprise surprise there is no smoke when putting my foot down anymore!
I have tried all kinds of scenarios with the throttle but still cant replicate the smoke I used to get before I tried this stuff.
The car (she!) is running absolutely 100% better off the mark and is much crisper through the gears......not as much fluffiness!
Mpg.....all I have noticed is that the trip computer seems to react quicker from cold to show me 30+ mpg on short runs, I will report back the actual mileage per gallon when I have burned enough fuel to do so.
First impressions are........
Loads quicker on kick down and generally through the gears.
No smoke at all when driving in any gear however quick!
Engine feels much more lively and warms up quicker.
Ticking/tapping noise is still there but goes away lots quicker than before,
the ticking/tapping noise is normal just irritating and normal!
Now for the rust....!!!!!|
