Bi-Xenon. Your lights find both men and women attractive

Bi-Xenon is where normal and main beam are Xenon, with or without the assistance of an additional 'normal' 55W tungsten bulb in the adjacent headlight (model dependent). The Xenon headlight has a mechanical shutter mechanism internally that redirects the light depending on the main or normal beam requirements. If you flick between the two, somewhere quiet, you should be able to hear the clunk as the system operates.
