Made a bird box over the weekend with our daughter. We had a chat about how good it would be to look at its new tenants when they arrive.

After some advice on camera options. I know nothing about this area. Is there a cordless option or are they all hard wired? I assume the images can be viewed on our TV?

All advice very much appreciated. :thumb:

I've had this system for 6 years now. Never had a problem, It's colour (if your box lets in enough light) plus infra red and sound. Viewable on a TV or better still a computer where the clips can be recorded and stored. They do a wireless kit but Sod's law says the battery goes at hatching time. It's wonderful to watch them build the nest and raise their chicks but be warned you will see some go missing depending on what food is available.

Sorry Ant I forgot to say mine is the £55 kit so no need to break the bank to get good results
