Black 560 SEL again for sale

I never thought the split rear seats were that rare on the 560sel?

It's such a shame that the car has the wrong wheels, nasty wheel arches and the steering wheel looks worn.
Could be made very nice.

Any questions please call Gary on 07742880650 - EBAY MESSAGES WILL NOT BE ANSWERED AS I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE CAR
Pretty much sums it up. If the advertiser doesn't know about the car - who does? - Gary presumably if he ever answers his phone.

lord_felsham never knows anything about the cars he advertises on eBay from what I've seen in the past, if that signifies anything.

I find this the most annoying thing, how can you sell something you know nothing about? Although I suppose no different to most of the main dealer sales departments.

The chrome arches are a shame, I just cannot stand them. Although if they go with any car its probably a w126 with all the other chrome nearby, but they don't exactly match the Amg wheels. The wheels look too big and the wrong offset.
Having said that, the car does look smart and has great potential. Shame the drivers seat was a bit shy the day they had the camera out.
I think its one of those cars that could either be a real gem of a find or a bit of a disappointment after a long trip to view it!

Jay

Are parts totally n/a even from MB?

how is the right quality over the regular springs/sls?

The parts are available from MB but the shock absorbers that commonly leak are in the region of £1500 each IIRC.

You may get lucky and find used parts but they are usually no good.

Never experienced the ride quality as every single one I have had has been broken and so I have broken the cars for spares.

Ouch. These don't convert to other suspension setups from a regular W126 easily then?

i was questioning this car too, exhaust looks smokey on idle, but with a fmbh its hard to say until they're checked, the guy selling maybe to old to even think about trying to sell himself so a friend on his behalf would explain the brief description i tried to call garry but phone was off

arches

plus the arches could be hiding rust
