Black out Running Boards

Hi All
I picked up my ML63 W166 on Friday.
I had a few styling modifications done today:
Carbon wrapped door handles,front bumper and grill, rear bumper
De badged ML63 AMG and both V8 Bi Turbo
Blacked out all rear windows 5% and drivers and passengers 35%
Blacked out window trims and roof rails.
The only thing that i didnt get blacked out where the running boards( sided skirts )
I was told due to people standing on them a wrap or plasti dip wouldn't really work.
Has anyone blacked theirs out and if so how ?
