Fascinating but why do the photos look artificial? The car seems superimposed on the background?

Looks like it has been HDR'd to flatten the tonal values, no shadow under the car.

Its not be HDR'd it has had the edges 'burned' in some images, and some further post editing in others

What's with the raggedy bits under the front valance?

Just the bottom of the radiator etc, old cars aren't as neat underneath as modern ones

I'm pretty sure we had one of those (but black) in the family in the late 60's but I remember it had four headlights and orange spot/fogs? Uncle Paul let my Dad drive it and he used to scare the cr*p out of him!!

We have a set of stacked lights, but theres no way they will fit which is odd, the hunt is still on!
