Blank off

Hi Guys Apologies as this may be in the wrong Post Section, Can anyone advise the correct material which is readily available to make a Blanking Panel for a Radiator for my W210 E320 CDI, I guess it should waterproof and easy to cut out.
If anyone has a template and fitting instructions that would great.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by banking off but if its to reduce the cooling area- cheap and cheerfull is a double layer of heavy duty kitchen foil. For something slightly more substantial some radiator insulation board [ but check the temperature limits!] might do. You don't want anything too heavy that might damage the radiator core itself should it work free. Never sure if I'm Preaching to the converted on here --- but its usually the lower half of the radiator that runs the coldest so that's the section to blank off.

Any old bit of plastic panel will do. Paint it black, job's a good-un.
