This came fitted to the first 190E I owned - which the previous (wealthy) owner had dealer fitted (at great expense) with the top of the range Blaupunkt Kingston DJ stereo radio/cassette player. Eventually the Kingston DJ's visual display gave up the ghost and I carefully removed the system and replaced it with a Mercedes-Benz Audio 10. The CD changer worked fine prior to removal and the changer has been stored in a box in my loft for the last few years. It is complete with the original instruction booklet, the CD cartridge/magazine, original mounting brackets (it used to sit nicely under the rear parcel shelf) and most important, the long connecting lead from the back of the head unit to the CD changer (most units I've seen advertised don't include this lead). The model is a Blaupunkt AO5 CD-Changer which stores and changes 10 CDs. It was a joy to listen to when I used my 190 for work and on long journeys was a godsend.

Please don't ask if the CD changer will work with any other unit than a Kingston DJ cassette player, I don't know - all I can say is that it worked perfectly for years with mine. I still have the instruction manual for the Kingston DJ which I'll include with the changer.

It's a substantial unit, made in Japan and weighs 3.5kgs. If anyone would like to buy it for £30 + £5 postage (alternatively it could be collected from Morecambe, Lancs) - let me know by PM. If you would like photos of the actual unit - PM me your e-mail address. All proceeds will go to the RNLI.
