I am selling these mirrors that I recently bought from Sym as I don't want to lose the dimming feature on my standard ones.
Price £200 + postage.

:( That's a shame :(

You could just get some dimming glass and wire it up ?

Oh well, these are nice mirrors people, blinking, folding and fitted ready with 202 plugs :D Bargain for somebody !

Was going to go down that route, but there are more wires on the back of my mirror glass than santa delivers presents
I have a round plug with 8 wires in, instead of the 2 on the new mirrors.
Shame, as I really wanted to fit them.
If they don't go quickly though, they might get modded :D

You just need some extra pins - there are enough ports on the plugs to cover the dimming wires, (as I was reliably informed by MBenzNL when he sold them to me !)

All the pins on my plugs are in use.
The only way I can see of doing it, is to run 2 wires up from the repeater on the wing.

Correct. Or maybe you just need to swap them back to 210 plugs, instead of the 202 ones that Steve fitted.

I put the hazard lights on earlier and tested the pins fron my car with a meter.
There is no feed from the lights, so I am thinking that the wires there are for the auto dimming?
Might have another go today.

The short red & black wires that I left attached are for the blinking.

Don't need to go into the wing, just find the right wire in the door sills for the rear indicators (red wire) and connect the black one to any convenient grounding point.

Thanks matey.
Might possibly have a go today if I finish fitting the LED's on my lorries.

These are now withdrawn from sale.
Fitted the n/s one today and will do the other one tomorrow. :bannana:
Had to run a wire through the bulkhead, as I couldn't find the wire in the n/s channel.
I have never seen so many wires running down a car
Counted and tested them all (76) and still not there, so it must run down the other side.
I did find a 12v battery about 2" x 3" in the channel though. Any ideas what this is for?
The positive side of it is + with the ignition off and - with it on
It goes into another box which has motorola on it, but is nothing like anything to do with a phone.
Just had a thought. Could it be to do with the emergency feature on the stereo if you are in Germany? It has an Audio 30. Just a thought

Looks super :D
Now for the next mod, but will wait for the oucome from MB headquarters on the rust issues.
Took it in today and it is on every panel apart from the o/s/r door
They are not sure what they will do, but admit it is covered. :D
(Maybe they will replace it with a brand new one? I can only wish) ;)
