Blo**dy whistling sound !!!

hi sorry but there seems to be this stupid whistling sound that sounds like its coiming from the passenger side near the glovebox.. it goes on and off and on and somtimes is loud and low.. driving me maddd

any idea what this could be

Is the tone of the whistle related to the speed of your heater fan? Could be something's got caught in the vent causing it to whistle as the air blows past?

loll, it turns off when i switch the engine off, seems every time i press the accelerator i get that sound. it is EXTREMELY annoying

it sounds like a electrical beeeeeping or soming but constant.

Yep - I'm with Satch on this one. Check the tweeter in the dash, does the sound seem directed from there?!?

..........or have got a hands free kit fitted. I had a problem with my handsfree causing a noise when it charged the phone up and the hifi was on.
