Bloody Cyclist

Everyone's seen it.

Idiot motorist got what he deserved. He shouts "get a car". As he's driving an old **** pug. The cyclist (who says he's got a car) probably has a nice car parked at home...

Complete lack of respect for another road user as he deludedly thinks his vehicle excise duty means he owns the road, even though the majority of cyclists on the road also have cars.

If that oaf reacts so explosively violent to everyone he encounters, I'm staggered he's made it to the age he has.

He should have been cycling on the pavement, really carefully.

Now that made me laugh - the pair of them! :):)

Pots and kettles .

Cycling on foot ways is prohibited by section 72 of the Highway Act 1835 . This is punishable by a fixed penalty notice of £30

What, so comprehensible, 'lol'?

This debate will go on for ever! Following a cyclist is like following a tractor down a narrow road......But sometimes the tractor will pull over and let the following vehicles pass but unfortunately a cyclist see's this as giving up his right to take up as much road as he sees fit..........

Tony.

Tony.

I pulled in twice yesterday on country roads to let cars pass. Blame "the cyclist" not "cyclists"!

There is a hell of a lot more that don't than do! But i take your point.

Tony.

Brilliant. That's a spectacular face plant. Not laughed like that for ages. Both old enough to know better.

Horses for courses, I think. I don't see much of a problem with sensible, careful cycling on pavements. There were very few cars around when the 1835 Highways Act was passed...

Slavish following of rules just because they are the rules does not always have much point - unless, of course, there's a copper watching...
