common fault bushes worn and covered in dust clean with wd40 and dry and reset bushes can use bushes from second hand motor

Follow up.
It was a fan relay which they fixed under warranty.
Get this-the manager told me it would have cost me £300 for the 45 min job if I had been paying.Is he having a laugh..........

1. How did you get the fan blades off to replace the brushes?

2. How long did you leave it to dry?

bushes have a clip on the side which clips off and takes 10 mins to fit new ones

im replaceing them on 96 e class and i can not get the black plastic fan blandes off from the spindle. any pointers
