S124 280E. Does anyone know how to remove the blower motor resistor? my blower blows a fuse when the fan speed is turned to max. I've had the blower motor out and it looks fine but the resistor/regulator looks rusty. Ive searched the forum and all posts mention the resistor being located under the blower motor however mine seems to be located remotely under the windscreen behind the brake servo (its the cage like object in the photo). there doesn't appear to be anything holding it down
My car is a 93 with AC which I importedIMG_20200610_133951.jpg from Japan if it makes any difference.

OK in the absence of any response I had to knuckle down and figure it out myself. It is attached to the chassis via 2x 8mm nuts that can only be accessed from inside the car by removing the instrument binnacle and lower dash and even then its an absolute pig to reach as it is hidden behind the wiring loom and brake pedal controls.
