Can anyone help me ?
my father has a '97 E230 (it was actually mine originally, and still looks like it has just rolled off the production line
) and the bulb in the dash behind the outside temperature gauge has gone. His local dealer has quoted £75 plus VAT plus parts (about £2 !) to fix this.
Does anyone know if this is a job that he can do himself ? Obviously he doesn't want to risk damaging the instrument cowl, so if you know of an easy way to replace this bulb your advice would be appreciated
