Blue Efficiency advice please

I am looking at a 2012 A W169 Classic 1500 Blue Efficiency. I appreciate this is eco etc but have some concerns - being neurotic about safety.
Does the engine stop automatically whenever stationary ? How quick is it to restart ? I am thinking of coming out of junctions and having limited time.

Any comments whatsoever - negative or positive greatly appreciated.

As soon as you take your foot off the break it starts, there is no delay......

It will only stop when the conditions are right. The ECO symbol on the dash will go from amber to green.

As mentioned, it starts when you lift your foot off of the brake. However, if you have used push to hold it ill start when you press the throttle.

If you only very gently press the throttle you can stop it cutting in if you are in slow moving stop start traffic or at a junction. You can also press the button on the dash to disable it.

You will soon get used to it. In most cases it works absolutely fine, I tend to only switch it off if in stop start traffic as it can get annoying. Otherwise it stays on.

Some people hate it and try to find ways to disable it as it comes on when the ignition is cycled.
