Has anyone seen this colour on a Mercedes of the 2000/2001 era?
Note this is code 347U and different from Quartz Blue Metallic - code 935U seen commonly on early CLK's

347 comes up as Horizon blue /Chalcedon Blau - here it is on a 2002 S Class

Its named after a blue quartz mineral- Chalcedony

Now you mention Chalcedony Blue it makes sense. I've seen that on C215 coupes before but never on a R129 before

Hi, I was the sales manager at SMAC Continental in Southend and I started ordering my demonstrator in Chalcedony Blue which was only a S Class colour at the time, it was a special order which cost £1500 , I had either CLK 320 Avantgarde and 430 Avantgarde with AMG body kit and wheels and I wish I could find one now
