Blue's my boy. The C63.

Well I have collected it....sans yellow callipers. AMG pulled the plug on that but gave me a free maintenance package for the duration of the lease as a sorry. I can live with that!

Not much to add about the car on top of everyone else's reports. On the colour I am smitten - i'll get some shots of the sand interior and new colour scheme COMAND in due course. For now - I have work to do on the roads!!!

The sun, when it hits the blue, looks excellent. When dark it looks a real black blue.

Also a nice GLK from Saudi.

Nice colour. For some reason I thought it was going to be lighter than that but I really like that. Looks like the sand provides a nice contrast as well.

The colour comes into its own at night under lights - the blue almost has a flip in it where it is dark and light with the various body sculpting. The sand looks great against it. When I get time over the weekend I'll dig out the proper camera and get some shots.

I am very happy with the colour (the only one in this scheme in the country. There is a blue saloon with black interior apparently) - i think it keeps the car subtle and classy as opposed to the std c63 muscle car look. Great for on street parking!

So far I have got 10.8 mpg over 30 miles (all around central London though...). Have to do a Chelsea - Heathrow - Farnborough - Bromley - Fulham run tomorrow though so will get a more respectable number then!
