Bluetooth Crashing Nav unit?

Hi i purchased a 2011 W204 C250 CDI face lift and have encountered a very strange problem. Every time i connect my phone via blue tooth it causes my entire radio/nav unit to start to crash every few minutes and then returns to normal when i disconnect the phone. Has anyone encountered a similar problem or have any advice?

Your car will have COMAND NTG4.5 or Audio20 NTG4.5. Either way I would recommend you start with a firmware upgrade. This will need to be done by someone with STAR and subscription. So either an MB dealer or a good specialist.
