Bluetooth Question

I bought a E320 CDI. it has the command Navigation but i cannot get the bluetooth to work. It used to have a phone cradle but the person moved it to his new car. Now i need to know do i need a Bluetooth cradle HFP-Various Part number B67875877?

Hi Jav,

either that part or part A2048200535, which may be a better bet if your phone supports rSAP - basically the unit above assumes control of your SIM and becomes the "active" phone.

Hi Jav. Basically if you stick to Nokia you want SAP. If you like to change your phone around different makes(blackberry, iphone, etc) then you'll be better with the HFP.

You don't mention the car model year but I'm assuming it has UHI, the previously installed Nokia cradle was attached to a small connector at the centre armrest area? In this case both BT adapters work on your car, the BT HF one equally as the BT SAP adapter.

I prefer the BT SAP version with a privacy handset. Depends a bit if you often talk with others in the car. A handset gives better audio quality too although BT is OK and needs to be OK because that is what you want to use mostly.
