clk 200k
Hello

obviously I am new here!
I sold my 535 yesterday and picked up a 2002 CLK 200k manual.

I know everyone says that I should have bought the 230 auto but this is the one that I wanted and I have to say that I am really made up with it.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Hey welcome and let us know how it goes over the next few months...oh and good luck!

Welcome :thumb: that switch on the left of the steering wheel that turns on the flashing lights is called the 'indicator stalk' :D thought I'd try to help with you coming from a B** :thumb::D

I just showed this to my wife and she is now crying with laughter! For the last two years she has been telling me this and the first thing she said when she got into the Merc was "do THESE indicators work???"

I thought it would be friendly here but it turns out your all in cahoots!

Seriously, thanks for the welcomes! There is a lot to learn so I'm off to do some searching!

Cheers

Shane

Welcome i am also a newbie,,i recently got a CLk 230k on a auto and Love it !!!!

Well that didn't take long for someone to drive in to me! I was stationary in a line of traffic and she didn't see me?!

There is lots more to say but as I don't want to get banned for using some shocking language, I'm off to bed!

****!

Hi and Welcome, sorry to hear about bump, hope it gets sorted quickly.

That's not a little bump!

Depends if the garage quoting is attempting to rip off the insurance company. My mum had a small scrape in a micra in a car park, insurance sent her to a garage which quoted over 2k including a new fuel tank and filler, none of which were damaged, they even added £100 for repairing the door mirrors which were perfect. So a trip to an indie and £150 later the minor scrape was sorted. These things are another reason premiums are so high.
