I Know I should have not tried, I am like Frank Spencer when it comes to DIY!
I followed some very detailed instructions and pictures to remove the instrument cluster, and then to take it apart to attempt a pixel repair on my CLK55. The end result is only a marginally better showing on the pixel front, which might improve slowly over time given other peoples attempts, but....... the fuel guage doesn't work now The needle does not move, although the amber light (low fuel warning) does work.
Anyone any ideas?
