CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE TO FIND ANY amg wide body parts.the sec club say they have them but don,t answer there mail. I imported this car from Germany6 years ago 83 500 sec and like to clone it to an AMG wide body, HELP!!! thanks from Canada

I'm afraid they are more scarce than rocking horse poo.

Chas at the www.sec-shop.com has molds for an entire Gen 1 replica widebody kit available which is designed for the age of your car. However this is a big kit and a lot of production, then you've got to ship it across to Canada, so it's highly likely to cost you more than the car did.

Also the original kits were mostly fibreglass bar the rear arch extensions.

One of the members on here is currently part way through a build of this nature and is documenting it as he goes.

Hi,

I have a gen 1 AMG kit which is the right year for your car for sale if interested e-mail me on [email protected].

Cheers

he wants widebody mate..

like has been said... never going to happen.

You need a skilled metal worker who can look at a picture of one and recreate it with sheet metal.. its not that difficult but will take time.

thanks for the posts, boys. it was worth a shot, far easier to buy em then build em.but if thats what it takes. We restore 60,s american muscle cars and were always fabricating parts.but i will keep the search on for a bit yet.
