Body shop around Leicester for R129 kit fitting

Hi ladies and gents

I’ve just purchased a lovely original r129 Amg kit and 3 piece split rims for my prefacelift SL500 from a top bloke here on the forum(I won’t mention his name as I haven’t asked his permission to do so).

Now I’m kind of embarrassed to say I’ve been a big Audi fan for awhile and recently fell in love with the pre merger Mercedes which are just class.

So long story short I don’t have a lot of Merc contacts and I’d like to find a decent Bodyshop for this particular car in East Midlands. I normally use Darkside garage in Leicester who are awesome but as a kit is being fitted I’d like to find out if there’s a garage good with these old timers first. Thanks all

Sorry, I don't know anywhere for fiting a Merc kit, I've not needed much paint done over the years in this area of the country.

No idea but I use a fabulous body shop here on the south coast,

If you drop of the parts, I will let you know what they look like on my R129, , hope they are in Azzurite blue..

Thanks all I think I’ve narrowed it down a place in Enderby near me going to give them a test run on a small imperfection too see the results.

Chartwell in Derby are superb and worthy of recommendation but they’re not cheap. Worth a quote though.
