Hi, I am looking to fit bolt in tyre valves on a set of 1980's UK made Penta 8x16 rims for a W126, I am wondering whether anyone could tell me what the valve hole size is ?

There seems to be a couple of different tyre valve hole sizes from 15.8mm to 9mm, and a couple in between. My feeling is that the valve hole is possibly 11.5 mm, but I would just like to confirm this before I buy a set of valves.

I have a set of 4 valves that bolt in flush fittings . Only fitted to a set of alloys that never went on my car, due to the adaptor rings were wrong and dealer could not find the right adaptors .So i sent the ste of wheels back, after i removed the valves..Not sure of the size .

Hi, thanks for your message. I have sorted the issue out. The valve size is 11.5 mm. I was ordering new tyres, and I asked the guys from where I am buying the tyres, and he told me that pretty any alloy wheel sold as a standard option by a manufacturer, will have an 11.5 mm valve hole fitting.

He is going to fit chrome valves when he fits the new tyres.

Thanks again.
